- Skills Common The US Department of Labor’s Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) program has created a free and open online library called SkillsCommons containing free and open learning materials and program support materials for job-driven workforce development. The $1.9 billion investment by the US Department of Labor produced a comprehensive collection of workforce-related Open Educational Resources (OER) created by over 700 community colleges across the nation. The OER can be found, reused, revised, retained, redistributed and remixed by an individual, institution, and industry for FREE with the proper attribution to the original author of the resources.
- LibreTexts A repository of a variety of OER texts, courses, and more. Also includes a remixer tool to customize course content.
- OpenStax College Publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed, openly licensed college textbooks that are absolutely free online and low cost in print. Seriously. Also developed a low-cost, research-based courseware that gives students the tools they need to complete their course the first time around, and a new online math homework system with step-level feedback.
- Open Textbook Library A collection of open textbooks available through University of Minnesota.
- Canvas Commons Several Canvas courses spanning multiple disciplines have been created and shared for your use.
- WISELearn Resources Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's dynamic digital library and network. Explore our resources and join Wisconsin educators dedicated to curriculum, instruction, professional learning, and collaboration.
- Creative Commons Search CC Search searches across more than 300 million images from open APIs and the Common Crawl dataset. It goes beyond simple search to aggregate results across multiple public repositories into a single catalog, and facilitates reuse through features like machine-generated tags and one-click attribution.
- OER Commons OER Commons is a public digital library of open educational resources.
- MERLOT The MERLOT system provides access to curated online learning and support materials and content creation tools, led by an international community of educators, learners and researchers.
- MIT YouTube Channel OCW is a free and open online publication of material from thousands of MIT courses, covering the entire MIT curriculum, ranging from the introductory to the most advanced graduate courses.
- Khan Academy Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. They tackle math, science, computing, history, art history, economics, and more, including K-14 and test preparation (SAT, Praxis, LSAT) content.
