My Library Account

SETTING UP AND ACCESSING YOUR ACCOUNT

To access your CVTC Library account, visit the MORE Library Catalog.

 

Select the red “Log In / My More” button in the upper-right. When you click that box, the green “Log In / Register” button appears. Click that.

 

  • Enter your Username or Library Card Number and Pin number (if you are a CVTC employee or student, your library card number is your ID number - for example "00123456")
  • Don’t have a PIN? Use the “Don’t have a PIN” link and follow the instructions to set a 4-digit PIN. Then come back to this page to continue. 
  • Click the red button to continue account setup
  • Create an username
  • Read and accept the terms on conditions and click the red "Complete Account Setup" button.

What can you do with your library account?

  • See the materials you have checked out and when they are due
  • Renew materials
  • See some of the eBooks you have checked out or on hold
  • Check on the holds and Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests you placed
  • View your library fines & fees
  • See your saved titles under "My Lists"
  • See your reading history

RENEWING LIBRARY MATERIALS

First, log in to your library account. Click on red button with your username in the upper right corner. Under "My Borrowing" click on "Checked Out".  

On this page you can click on the red "Renew" button to renew any items.  You can renew items 3 times if they are not on hold for another library customer.

PLACING & MANAGING HOLDS

If you would like to Place a Hold:

Using the library catalog, search for the item you want. Once you locate it, use the green "Place a Hold" button next to the requested format of the title.

If you are not logged in you will be prompted to enter your barcode number and PIN. Once you are logged in you can change the pickup location if needed, the default location is your "Home Library".  To get items sent to CVTC use "CVTC Library - Eau Claire".   

 

When your item is ready to be picked up, you will receive an email from the MORE System.

 


If you would like to Manage Your Holds:

Log into your library account. Once logged in you can make changes to your holds on the On Hold Page.  You can make the following updates to your holds: 

  • Pause Selected Holds - holds that aren't in transit or already on the hold shelf can be paused until you are ready for them.  
  • Cancel holds
  • Add titles to a shelf for personal reference
