Hands-on activities using the Web-based EHR Navigator provide you with practical experience using a realistic electronic health records (EHR) system. Each activity is an interactive tutorial designed to demonstrate an EHR concept. These activities are based on many inpatient and outpatient EHR systems and, therefore, are transferable to a variety of healthcare settings.
Student membership provides you with access to AHIMA's HIM Body of Knowledge, which provides resources and tools to advance health information professional practice and standards for the delivery of quality healthcare. Resources include professional articles, magazine articles, scholarly journal articles, and AHIMA briefs and papers.
In addition to the HIM Body of Knowledge, you now have access to AHIMA's Career and Student Center. This includes a wealth of information on job descriptions, job searching, and information about salaries and mentoring​, e-newsletters, certification resources, discounted study-prep materials, and more.

CVTC Scholarships
There are more than 200 scholarships offered to incoming and current CVTC students. Any student with a CVTC ID number is eligible to apply using the online application.
