My Library Account

Registering Your Account

To register your library account:

  1. Visit more.lib.wi.us/patroninfo
  2. In the "Library Card Number" field, enter your CVTC ID number (for example, 00123456)
  3. Don't enter a PIN
  4. Click the Submit button
  5. On the next screen, enter your CVTC ID number again and select a 4-digit PIN (enter it twice)
  6. Click the Submit button
  7. Your account is now registered
  8. To continue setting up your account, we recommend logging out and following the steps in the next section

Account Settings

After registering your account, you will log in by visiting more.lib.wi.us

  • Click the red Log In / My MORE button
  • Click the green Log In / Register button
  • Enter your CVTC ID number and your 4-digit PIN, and click the red Log In button

If you just registered your account, you will be asked to complete your account setup the first time you log back in

  1. Verify that your information is correct - if anything needs to be changed, please contact the library
  2. Create a username (your CVTC username is recommended) - it is required, but you never have to use it
  3. Accept the terms & conditions
  4. Click the red Complete Account Setup button
  5. You then have the option to enable borrowing history
    • Your borrowing history is private
    • You can turn it on/off at any time
    • This is the only way to see previous items you have checked out
  6. The final recommended step is to choose your preferred library locations
    • When you check book availability and other information, these libraries will be shown first
    • CVTC Library - Eau Claire will be your default first location, but you are welcome to change this
    • You can add multiple preferred locations if necessary
  7. Your account is set up! Enjoy exploring.

To modify your settings after initial account set up, visit My Settings

  1. Under Account Information, you can change your email address, username, and PIN
  2. Under Account Preferences, you can
    • Manage your saved searches
    • Modify your holds & pickup location, as well as single-click hold settings
    • Change your community content defaults
    • Turn your borrowing history on or off
  3. Under Privacy, you can modify the privacy of your shelves and feeds
