All CVTC Policies, as defined in the Student Handbook and Student Code of Conduct, apply while in the library, including computer and printer use.
All library spaces are monitored by CVTC personnel.
Library and College staff reserves the right to refuse a patron the use of library spaces and resources.
While the library is a collaborative environment, we do ask that you are mindful of how your behavior and volume impact others in the space.
We ask that all library patrons are respectful of others’ rights, including privacy.
Library staff are not liable for personal belongings left in library spaces.
Food and beverages are allowed with the expectation that patrons are responsible for clean-up.
Patrons exhibiting disruptive and/or prohibited behavior may be asked to leave.
Please remember that study rooms and pods are not personal or private spaces. They are monitored by library staff and provide an opportunity for use by all patrons.
Study rooms must be reserved at the library desk for up to 2 hours at a time. Rooms may be renewed if there are no subsequent reservations.
At the end of the reservation period, the study room must be cleared.
Reservations will be canceled if not confirmed at the library desk within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time. Please call to cancel or stop at the library desk if your plans change. No-shows may affect your ability to reserve rooms in the future.
The family study room is prioritized for use by students with children. The space may be reserved by others at the library desk on a case-by-case basis.
Study pods are available on a first-come first-served basis. Please be mindful of the duration of use due to high demand.
Library staff may refuse a patron the use of study rooms and pods if applicable policies are not followed.
